This is a 2022 project. Three years spent in China inspired me to document various ethnic minorities living at the borderlines between China and its neighboring countries. In this project, I present to you indigenous people from Southwest Yunnan, where you can overlook Myanmar across a mountain. The remote locations keep these areas relatively indigenous compared to the fast-paced Chinese society. In the images, I documented the traditional Wa, Bulang, Bai and Lisu People from Yunnan.
